Radiation poisoning; n Illness induced by exposure to ionizing radiation, ranging in severity from nausea, vomiting, headache, and diarrhea to loss of hair and teeth, reduction in red and white blood cell counts, extensive hemorrhaging, sterility, and death.
Are you concerned with the effects of
Nuclear Meltdown?
And the possible resulting
Radiation Poisoning?
Are you aware of
Natural Herbal Recipes?
That can mitigate the effects? Here is what we believe;
There is a lot in the news lately about the quakes in Japan and the resulting damage to nuclear facilities. There have been over a hundred quakes and aftershocks since then and a number of facilities right on the fault, so the danger is far from over. Leaked radiation from these facilities is of paramount concern to all humans because of how deadly toxic these substances are. Not only do they have the ability to cause death, but horrific mutations to subsequent generations.
For this reason it is easy to panic when faced with this scenario. People are leaving Japan in droves. The food disappeared off the shelves in a matter of days and many now face starvation on top of cold and devastation. The same could happen here very quickly.

The good thing is that our governments are well prepared for such a scenario. Turns out they have stockpiles of Potassium Iodide, although the British Columbia government declined to say where due to security concerns. Both the Canadian and U.S. governments also have stock- piles to distribute to members of the Public in an emergency.
While it is good to know this, it is also a good idea to be prepared in any way that you can and it is always a good idea to have a little extra on hand to share with family and neighbours. We have collected, sold and traded heirloom seeds for many years and also collect seeds from natural plants to see how they grow in a greenhouse or garden.
There are many plants locally that have wonderful medicinal properties as well as add nice flavours to your cooking. Some of these that contain potassium and can help balance your electrolytes include;
Dandelion, Red Clover, Elder Flowers, Garlic, Yellow Dock, Burdock Root, Black Walnut, Mullein, Horsetail, Liquorice Root, Chickweed, Stinging Nettle, Basil and Tarragon. Vegetables include Carrots, Celery, Parsley, Spinach, Beets, Cauliflower, Leeks, Raw Potatoes, Squash, Tomatoes and Turnips. Fruits include Oranges, Lemons, Apricots, Bananas, Cherries, Dates, Grapes, Huckleberries, Figs, Pears, Peaches, Plums, Raspberries and Olives.

There are natural herbs that contain potassium iodide. For millennia, people have treated themselves with remedies made from the plants that we have growing all around us. Knowing what plants you can use in an emergency is a skill that is slowly being lost to us.
Certain plants will stop bleeding, others will help heal bones, some cleanse the blood and others help rid our bodies of infections and toxins. There is a pharmacopia at our fingertips.
I asked Judith what kind of tea she could create for us to help just in case we ended up with radio-active chemtrails raining down on us. She sat down and made up this formula. We call it “On the Beach Tea”.
On the Beach Tea
Bladder wrack, Oregon Grape, Irish Moss, Fennel Seed, Sheep Sorrel, Mullein and Golden Seal.
Radioactivity is also carcinogenic, so we have included a recipe with herbs that many people believe aid in mitigating cancer and its effects. After I broke most of the bones in my upper body, I was x-rayed so many times I thought I was going to start glowing in the dark. I asked Judith then to make me a tea that would help with cancer prevention by strengthening my immune system. She added a couple things to an old Ojibwah formula and made me this “Alexis Tea”.
Alexis Tea
Burdock Root, Sheep Sorrel, Turkey Rhubarb Root, Slippery Elm, Astragalus and Red Clover.
Please note that both of these teas contain herbs that have contraindications for pregnant women. For alternate solutions if you are pregnant, please contact Judith. |
